Born on June 24, 1998, in Lagos, Nigeria, JayFundz (Odey Peter Junior) grew up in the vibrant neighborhood of Ajegunle. Surrounded by a deep love for music, he was inspired by his mother’s passion for R&B and reggae, often jamming to her extensive cassette collection. His natural musical talent emerged early, as he began playing drums in church without any formal training.

Throughout his journey, JayFundz has navigated life’s challenges, drawing strength and inspiration from music as both an escape and a passion. He recorded his first single in 2019 and was featured on Richlifestyle’s Time EP in 2022, a milestone that solidified his dedication to his craft. In 2024, he achieved a major breakthrough, signing his first official record deal with Maxibill Records.

“The music journey has been an incredible mix of growth, lessons, and joy,” JayFundz shares. “For all this, I give thanks to God Almighty.”
