Born on December 3, 1996, in Lagos, Nigeria, Richlifestyle (Okwelum Marvin) discovered his passion for music early on, inspired by legends like Michael Jackson. Growing up in Ajegunle, one of Lagos’ most vibrant yet challenging neighbourhoods, music became his escape and a medium for self-expression.

Richlifestyle found his voice in rap and hip-hop, influenced by artists like Lil Durk, J. Cole, Nipsey Hussle, Skepta, and Drake. Their stories resonated deeply with his experiences, shaping his artistry and drive to inspire through music.

In 2021, he made his mark with his debut album, Time, released on his birthday, December 3. 

 As he gears up for the release of his highly anticipated single, 3am in Lagos, featuring Jayfunds (a fellow Maxibill artist), Richlifestyle is set to showcase the next wave of African rap and trap music. The track drops on December 20, 2024, with an official video visualizer launching alongside the label’s debut.

“Trap and rap are the future of African music,” Richlifestyle asserts. “With the right team and unwavering faith, there’s no limit to what we can achieve.”
